Duties and Responsibilities

· Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction

· Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs

· Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product or operations issues

· Monitoring and maintaining equipment and machinery

· Setting up manufacturing equipment

· Using machine equipment to complete tasks

· Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment

· Ensure prompt and timeliness of changeovers

· Ability to meet daily production standards.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills / Qualifications:

· Must be able to understand and execute actions based on of verbal and visual instructions.

· Ability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively.

· Bend continuously throughout the shift

· Able to work in a noisy, hot environment

· Perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift

· Able to reach with hands and arms to check product

· Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time

· High school diploma or GED
